Recently I considered getting a Youtube channel and this week I made that reality. I filmed the video with our GoPro hero 5. I used iMovie to edit the video.

The bowl is either a kind of Mahogany or Iroko. It is one of three bowls I have made recently all out of this mystery wood. They are all (hopefully) going in the Geall Gallery, in Grosmont, along with a high-end dovetail box made of Mahogany, Maple, Oak and Ebony.

Two out of the three bowl blanks I had, have been made into bowls. I enjoy turning this mystery wood as I can get quite a good finish on it and the grain is really interesting.
